Le Mans Series Round 5 Jarama - Qualifying -
- Sunday 24th September 2006

Team Bruichladdich Radical: 7th Overall, 2nd LMP2
Rollcentre Racing: 10th overall, 5th LMP2

Following the travesty of being robbed of a victory in the last event at Donington, Rollcentre Racing is ready to challenge for another podium along with Team Bruichladdich Radical in Spain this weekend. The Jarama circuit 30km north of Madrid is hosting the final event of the season and having seen a Radical take its first trophy in Germany there is time for more Radical celebrations. Team Bruichladdich Radical is now on its third outing and having put in an excellent time with Stuart Moseley in the SR9 it’s possible to see two teams flying the Radical flag come 6pm on Sunday evening.

The LMP2 category is looking to be especially competitive here. The times are close and the race is going to be decided on driver skill to withstand the physical demands of the twisty circuit as well as the tactical manoeuvring round slower traffic on the narrow track. Team Bruichladich Radical is back to its two driver line-up with Tim Greaves and Stuart Moseley while Rollcentre Racing has brought in Rob Barff to add to the regular pairing of Martin Short and Joao Barbosa.

The Radical SR9 is already regarded as having made an impressive showing in its first season and tomorrow is the final chance to enforce its reputation as being a superb handling car with excellent pace worthy of world class sportscar status.

The race can be seen on Motors TV and live timing and video can be viewed on www.lmes.net
