JOB TITLE: CNC Turner Setter/Operator

RESPONSIBILITY: programming, Milling Machine tools using “ONE CNC” software.

With the continued development of our global race championship framework, we are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic skilled CNC Turner.


Working as part of a close-knit team you’ll be responsible for utilising and programming our CNC lathes using machine control online.

We use a variety of CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls.

This role is to provide ongoing support to our shopfloor personnel and aid production output of products to include NPI/NPD/Prototypes and batch work, encompassing a wide range of skills.

Reports to: Turning Supervisor                                         

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to Produce CNC Machine Tool Programs
  • Best Practice and machining strategy to support efficient production output
  • Assist production personnel to maintain output- machine setup and running of machines tools where necessary to aid production
  • Understanding of current health and safety rules and procedures
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work to quality standards regarding end finish 
  • Must be familiar working in a production bespoke environment.
  • Must be able to use manual inspection equipment to measure and verify own work.
  • De-burring of parts produced
  • Ability to offer a flexible working commitment which places customers at the forefront of activities.
  • Strong time management ensuring products are completed within a timely manner without effecting standards or quality
  • Team player with a can-do attitude

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in the role of CNC Operator/Setter
  • Experience with Fanuc machine controls
  • Understanding of current health and safety rules
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills written and verbal.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience within aerospace, motorsport, automotive & or precision engineering
  • Working to quality standards such as TS16949, ISO9001 or AS9100.
  • The candidate must be able to work and currently living in the UK.
  • Immediate start for the right candidate.


  • Full-time, Permanent Contract
  • From £12 per hour plus overtime
  • Working Hours: 39 over 5 days
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • 28 days Holiday including 8 bank holidays
  • 4% Company Pension Contribution
