The tenth season of Radical’s highly rated entry-level championship continues to offer the best way for motorsports fans to start on their own racing path, and for racers from other series to enter the world of factory supported sportscar racing at a very attractive budget.

The Radical Championship race programme offers a range of format options and levels of competition to satisfy any racer from novice to veteran.  All Radical racing is fast, safe, and exhilarating with full factory support at all events.  Radical’s “spec racer” formats keep the field level and the competition focused on driving skill, not the size of your wallet. And being light-weight and purpose-built for racing, Radical sportscars deliver a pure racing experience at lap times faster than other race cars costing several times as much.  From a family privateer effort, to full end-to-end support from experienced Radical race teams, all are welcome to the Radical paddock.

Why not enter the world of factory supported sportscar racing at a very reasonable budget. While being Radical’s “entry level race car”, the SR1 is a full-on purpose-built race car generating lap times faster than GT4 cars costing three times as much.  The Radical SR1 Cup is the complete “motorsport starter kit” making it the UK’s most compelling entry point into circuit racing.

The SR1 Cup continues its popular single day format as a Saturday race event featuring a 20-minute qualifying session and two 20-minutes sprint races. A new feature was introduced in 2021 and will be carried into 2022, with the option for SR1 Cup racers to extend the track action with a ‘Sunday Supplement’, joining the Challenge 45 minute endurance race programme on Sundays.

Come and join us in the UK’s most exciting race championship. Whether you prefer sprints, longer-format enduros or a mix of both, Radical offers the best mix to suit you and your lifestyle, from the novice to seasoned campaigner. From a one-off drive to a full season campaign, Radical are here to thrill, challenge and support you.
