With 15 W Series podiums between them, Alice Powell and Abbi Pulling will be teaming up in a factory-run Radical SR10 for the final endurance race of the Radical Challenge Championship, on Sunday 18th September. With a high horsepower, long-life powertrain, the Radical SR10 is everything you’d expect from a Radical – turbocharged.

Powell was famously the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in between W Series rounds, Pulling drives with the Alpine Affiliate program and this year became the first woman to drive a Formula 1 car in Saudi Arabia at the Grand Prix.

Speaking of her upcoming race, Alice said ‘The last time I drove a radical was back in 2011 and I absolutely loved it, so I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of one. It will be slightly different to what I am used to driving, however, I know it will be a great experience.’

Abbi added, ‘I am very excited to drive the radical around Donington. It is a new car for me, and we’ll have the extra challenge of jumping straight into qualifying with no practice, however, I’ve only heard great things about Radicals so I’m looking forward to the weekend.’

Alice and Abbi will race alongside over 30 other Radical’s at the Donington GP circuit, including RAW Motorsports James Lay who is currently leading the Radical Challenge championship, and Jim Booth, who is travelling over from America with his SR10.

Radical’s UK Motorsport Manager, Nicole Van der Walt said, ‘we’re so excited to welcome two more competitive drivers to our grid for the penultimate race of the season. They’re obviously both very talented, but it will be interesting to see how they adapt to the car after jumping in for qualifying straight away.’
