Radical’s premier North American series made its maiden visit to the 2.38-mile, 16-turn road course and home of the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama this year, where it provided a modern twist to the HSR Barber Historics event. However the track has been a long time favorite for Radical racers due to its exciting layout, world-class vintage motorsports museum and the circuit’s close proximity to both Birmingham and Atlanta.
The confirmation of Barber comes after the recent announcement that next year’s season will commence with the tight turns and intense elevation changes of Road Atlanta, April 9-11, where the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup will also join F3 Americas and F4 U.S., as well as Formula Race Promotions.
As it did this year, the sixth and final round will take place at Circuit of the Americas during Creventic’s 24H Series international event, November 12-14, complete with internet broadcast of all three races and commentary from Radio Le Mans.
Series organizers will officially announce rounds two, three and five early in the year, and until then ask competitors to save the following dates.
