Building on the success of 2016, the 2017 Radical range of sportscars has evolved to provide the most high performance line-up to date – taking drivers from track day rookie in the new Generation 2 entry-level SR1, through to the best selling SR3 and new for 2017 SR8; then on to the flagship RXC Spyder and all the way through to high-level GT competition in the RXC GT3.
The RXC is also available in two more closed cock-pit models, the high performance track and race day RXC 600R and one of the world’s most extreme road legal coupes, the RXC GT.
On display at the show, the SR3 offers thrilling, cost-effective, high-performance track driving and racing. First launched in 2001, it is the most widely produced and most successful prototype style sportscar racer in the world, with over 1,100 sold. This bears testament to its proven track record and stunning value verses performance and is surely the reason why the SR3 has been selected by the Race of Champions for the champions of F1TM and other major race series to race, achieving the fastest racing lap at the last 2 Race of Champion Events.
Also on show will be the RXC Spyder, Radical’s flagship racing car for the gentleman driver. It offers a refined experience closer to LMP competition than ever before thanks to Radical’s learnings from their multiple Le Mans entries in LMP2 – at a purchase and running cost far below the competition. The RXC Spyder enjoys similar speed to the SR8 but allows for a bigger and more generously-appointed cockpit than any previous open Radical and with a greater range of driving aids and benefits than previously available.
