Sharing with ex-F3 Cup frontrunner Louis Hamilton-Smith in a RAW Motorsport-supported SR8 RX, it will be the Scandinavian youngster’s first time at the top level of the European Masters, having impressed on a previous one-off outing in the Supersports Class.

18-year-old Olsen hails from Moelv in Hedmark, Norway, and became known to Norwegian motorsport fans when he participated in the national broadcaster’s “Best in Most” programme. After an impressive career in karting, he moved on to Formula Basic, where he won not only the Norwegian Championship, but also the National Cup.

In 2016 he dominated the Radical Scandinavian Championship. Shortly after the offer of a race seat in the Radical Texas-run RXC Spyder followed, and Theodor grasped the opportunity with a number of top results throughout the series, including two race victories at the legendary Laguna Seca circuit in California.

“I have been privileged to compete and test all Radical models from PR6 to RXC Turbo and V8,” said Theodor. “Now I can contest the entire European Masters Series with the SR8; my favorite car, this could not be a better opportunity to continue my path to Le Mans!”

There’s still time to join the Radical European Masters grid as both Masters and Supersport classes continue to grow. The five-round pan-European calendar visits only current or former Grand Prix venues, and there’s the option to supplement your season with the Radical Festival held at Spa-Francorchamps.
