Cars Sales Enquiry
How do I order a new car?
All Radical sportscars are built to a customer’s unique specification. Simply visit Radical Dealers to contact your nearest Radical dealer who can assist with information and trial day opportunities to sample your chosen model. A deposit then secures your build slot for construction with the balance payable on completion before delivery/shipment of the car to your chosen location worldwide.
Is VAT included?
No, our prices are exclusive of any local purchase taxes. This is because some customers may have the ability to claim the VAT back if the car is run as a marketing or business expense.
Can I finance the purchase of my car?
Radical has relationships with a number of finance houses specialising in racing and sports cars at competitive rates. Please contact the Radical sales team via the contact form for more information and contact details.
Track & Racing Enquiry
At what age can I start racing a Radical?
Minimum licence ages for Radical competition vary across the world but for most territories the minimum age is 16. In the UK drivers are required a Motorsport UK Race National B licence in order to compete in the Radical Challenge and SR1 Cup. Trackdays generally require the driver to hold either a valid race or road licence.
Do your racing packages include fuel?
Fuel will need to be purchased separately. Radical supplies a control race fuel to the whole grid at a competitive price from supplier Anglo-American Fuels for the Radical Challenge. This will be available trackside at competitive events. For SR1 drivers there is no control fuel requirement, and for drivers using their cars in other events such as hillclimbs, sprints etc. we strongly recommend the use of high-specification 98RON Super Unleaded.
What additional technical support can I expect?
For advice and support, our technical staff will be on hand at every Official Radical track event to answer any questions or concerns regarding your car. Our staff are always available on the end of the phone to resolve your queries between events. Our cars are easy to maintain at a circuit but we recommend inviting friends/family to join in the fun, and to keep track of lap times etc.
Spare Parts & Aftersales Enquiry
How do I order Radical spare parts?
To order Radical spare parts, consumables and merchandise simply contact your nearest Radical dealer; click here to locate your closest Radical representative. The dealer will arrange your parts order either for shipment from the local Radical base, or directly from Radical’s UK headquarters. For territories with no Radical dealer appointed please use the contact form to get in touch with your requirements.
Is VAT included?
No, our prices are exclusive of any local purchase taxes and duties. This is because some customers may have the ability to claim the VAT back if used as a marketing or business expense.
How do you ship spare parts?
Radical uses major international courier companies for its shipments. Time-critical shipments are typically dispatched on air or road-freight services; for larger components with less time-critical requirements it may be more economical to ship by sea freight. Our spares parts team will be happy to discuss these options with you.

Where can I find owners/technical manuals for my car?
All ownership and technical resources, including up to date technical bulletins and engine and data interrogation software can be downloaded from Technical Downloads
I’ve never owned a racing car, is it difficult to maintain?
All our models have been specifically designed to offer exceptional performance whilst remaining easy and inexpensive to maintain. As part of our service you are invited to expand your technical understanding with Radical’s Works Team technicians. They will explain how to complete basic maintenance on the car and prepare for your race weekends. If you do not wish to prepare the car yourself, we can advise on independent specialists who will take care of this for you including a list of independent Radical teams.
How do I set the car up and how difficult is this to do?
The car will arrive with a factory set up that is ready to go and will suit all driving styles. However, part of the fun of driving a racing car is fine tuning it to match your style, the circuit and weather conditions. It’s all part of the learning process – the higher up the range, the more significant range of adjustment that that is available. Our Radical Works Team technicians are always available to offer advice in this area.
Engine Sales & Service Enquiry
Is there a warranty on your engines?
Yes. Radical is one of very few companies in the world who provide engine warranties for race cars. Ours covers the engine for non-driver induced failures and the only stipulation is that it is refreshed after 40 hours (Suzuki-based powerplants) or 80 hours (Ford-based powerplants) of use.
Are all your engines the same performance?
Radical’s official championships mandate the use of sealed, set-specifications to ensure parity between competitors and teams for fair and cost-controlled racing. All engines are thoroughly checked when new and rebuilt that they produce performance matching our standardised characteristics for each model e.g. 1340cc SR1, 1340 and 1500cc SR3 etc.
