Young Soo Kim, Hankook Tire Manager, Motorsport Team Europe HQ, and Romain Fabre, Motul Head, Centre of Excellence Market, flew in to the UK to join Joseph Anwyll, Radical CEO, especially for the announcement at the Birmingham NEC this morning (Friday).

The appointment of these invaluable new partners heads up a plethora of initiatives planned for Radical’s 21st anniversary year. In particular, it marks the move towards unified model specification and regulations across all official championships operating across four continents. This will offer a new, consistent level of support and service for all Radical racers, teams and distributors while enabling drivers to compete on a simplified and level playing field worldwide.

Hankook Tire is one of the global top five companies manufacturing innovative, award winning radial tyres of proven superior quality. After an intensive 12-month period of testing to equal or exceed the performance of previous specifications, Hankook Ventus tyres will be standard OEM and aftermarket fitment across the Radical range. Hankook will also provide a dedicated paddock support service at Radical race events, in addition to bringing an extended programme of joint marketing and promotional activity.

For more than 160 years world-class French company, Motul has been unanimously recognised for the quality of its products, innovation capacity and involvement in the field of competition, and as the specialist in synthetic lubricants. These will become standard OEM and aftermarket fitment for all Radical models, including the SR1, SR3, SR8, RXC (Spyder, 600R, GT3 and GT-Road). The Motul product range will be available from Radical’s Peterborough (UK) HQ, trackside and through the company’s 30 worldwide distributors.

Nigel Land, Radical Sales & Marketing Director: “We are delighted to announce Hankook Tire and Motul as our new technical partners with immediate effect, ready for the new racing season.
