Peterborough (UK), Tuesday 7th February 2023; Radical Motorsport, the UK’s largest race car manufacturer is pleased to announce the addition of two new dealer partners in Germany.
MERTEL Motorsport in Nuremberg and Classic & Speed in Bilster Berg have both been appointed official Radical Motorsport partners in Germany.
MERTEL Motorsport offers race support, events, track days and training for motorsport enthusiasts across Europe. The Bavarian-based race team boasts an impressive fleet of customer cars, as well as a high-spec garage facility for race car storage and maintenance. From its headquarters in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg, MERTEL Motorsport will now be the only official dealer in Germany to handle sales of the entire Radical model range, included the latest model updates, the SR3 XXR and the SR10 XXR.
Mario Grummt, Team Principal of MERTEL Motorsport said: “In the past, we have got to know and admire the clear vision that Radical Motorsport has – to allow motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to involve themselves in pure racing. This is something we have been passionate about from the beginning too, and so we are very pleased to officially join the Radical community”.
Further north, Classic & Speed specialise in technical services, and will act as an official aftersales dealer for Radical Motorsport as Radical Germany North. Founded in 2017, Classic & Speed offer complete vehicle services for modern and historic vehicles, with a comprehensive technical services team with more than 20 years of experience under their belts.
Combined with race team and sales support from MERTEL Motorsport, Radical customers across Germany and northern Europe can now access complete professional support from the supply of parts to the running and servicing of their Radical cars.
Dan Redpath, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Radical Motorsport said; “The teams at both MERTEL Motorsport and Classic & Speed include a great group of experienced mechanics, engineers and coaches that I am confident can provide first-class services to our growing customer base across Germany and wider Europe. As a European manufacturer, it is important to support our loyal Radical owners here, and I am confident that our two newly-appointed partners will be instrumental to the growth of our brand in the years to come.”
Radical Motorsport is quickly becoming the race car of choice for motorsport and car club members wanting faster, more competitive cars. Since its inception, the British manufacturer has sold close to 3,000 cars and established 12 single-make race series around the world, as well as announce the latest updates to their most popular models, the SR3 XXR and the turbo-charged SR10 XXR earlier this year.
The appointment of Radical Germany North and Radical Germany South complements the existing Radical dealer network, and expands their total number of dealers in Europe to 12. The global Radical dealer network includes over 30 other dealers serving 21 countries – all the way from Canada and the US to the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.
Radical Germany North and Radical Germany South are the latest in a series of new Radical dealer appointments across the globe, with other recent appointments including Miami and Spain.

A 33-strong global dealer network spanning 21 countries underpins this growth, and there are now 12 single-make Radical Cup championships across four different continents, including the factory-supported Hagerty Radical Cup UK and the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America.
Radical Motorsport is one of the world’s most prolific sports car manufacturers, with over 2,800 cars produced in the past 25 years. From its 1997 inception, Radical set out to create a customer-lead niche in the world of motorsport, a race-bred thrill-a-minute driving experience on the racetrack and road.
A combination of lightweight construction, superbike-derived technology and aerodynamic downforce delivers models faster than a supercar, totally driver-focused and rewarding to drive. Entering its third decade, the Radical stable includes the entry-level SR1, the best-selling SR3, turbo-charged SR10, and iconic RXC available in GT3 and Spyder variants. The turbocharged SR10 was launched in early 2021 and headlines Radical’s SR product range with over 425bhp and 380lb-ft of torque for blistering performance. All models from the renowned racing car manufacturer are solely designed, engineered and built at Radical’s Cambridgeshire headquarters, by 70 of the company’s 130-strong staff.
Radical was the first manufacturer to bring long-format, double-header endurance racing to competitive motorsport while providing comprehensive spares and technical support. The marque’s official single-make championships offer the ultimate driving experience and progressive racing ladder for prototype-style sports car racing for drivers of all abilities, while Radical’s ‘Race the World’ mission offers an end-to-end racing, training and support network across the globe.
