Primal Motorsports, based at Atlanta Motorsports Park and Team Stradale, based at Autobahn Country Club in Illinois, tied for 2022 Dealer of the Year award for North America, while Radical UAE emerged victorious for the ‘Rest of World’ category. Dealers Radical Canada East, Radical USA Nevada and Radical USA Arizona also enjoyed accolades.

Radical Motorsport’s Dealer of the Year awards aim to recognise the highest performing members of their international dealer network, that now includes over 30 dealers in more than 20 countries. All Radical Motorsport dealers aim to make the Radical ethos ‘we make racers’ a reality, offering sales and trackside support for the full Radical range, as well as ‘arrive and drive’ programs across track days, tests and race events.

Dealer of the Year, North America

Based out of the Atlanta Motorsports Park, Primal Motorsports accelerated through the ranks through the success of their Primal Racing School. With programs showcasing the power and performance of the Radical SR1, the Primal Racing School is a Sports Car Club of America accredited racing school offering beginner and advanced programs.

Ryan Nicol, Primal Racing CEO, said: "The entire Primal Racing Group family is proud to have won the 2022 Radical Motorsport Dealer of the Year.  2022 was a whirlwind year for us as we focused intensely on rebuilding our customer base and improving brand recognition after a couple of down years in the market.  Thanks to the support and trust from existing, as well as several new customers, we had an outstanding year.  Our goal is to provide our customers a solution for whatever their path in motorsports may be.  Whether it's a brand-new driver moving through our racing schools, someone needing car prep and track side support, or the experienced racer looking to improve their driving skills or upgrade to a faster vehicle, we have something for everyone."

Also sharing first place with Primal Motorsports for the North America Dealer of the Year award, is Team Stradale based in Illinois. Team Stradale were appointed as the Midwestern distributor for Radical in 2013, and quickly became the fastest-growing dealer in the US. Spearheaded by Francesco D’Avola out of their impressive facility at Autobahn Country Club circuit near Chicago, Team Stradale have been instrumental in cementing Radical as the country club track car of choice. This continued into 2022, with Team Stradale also being appointed as Radical’s official dealer in Florida and ultimately winning the overall Dealer of the Year award for the fourth consecutive time.

Team Stradale’s impressive performance is set to continue, with ongoing success in the Blue Marble Radical Cup.

Francesco D’Avola, Team Stradale owner, said: “Being Radical Motorsport’s highest volume Dealer of the Year for a fourth time is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence. Without the support of our amazing customers and the hard work and dedication of our talented team, this achievement would not have been possible. We are grateful to have such a fantastic group of individuals who share our vision and values, and who have contributed to our success. We are proud to serve our customers with the best products and services, and we will continue to work tirelessly to exceed their expectations. Thank you to our customers and team for their unwavering support and commitment to excellence.”

Dealer of the Year, Rest of World

As one of the longest-standing members of the Radical Motorsport dealer network, Radical UAE, Gulfsport, has won Dealer of the Year award for the Rest of World region, which spans Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

In 2005, they established the Gulf Radical Cup, that remains one of the most popular of the official Radical championships around the world.

Headed by father-son duo Barry and Martin Hope, 2022 saw great strides from Radical UAE, resulting in them winning not only the overall Dealer of the Year award, but all four awards in the Rest of World categories – Performance award, Constructors award and Push to Pass award.

Martin Hope, Managing Partner of Gulfsport Racing, said: “We are really proud to become 2022 Radical Dealer of the Year. It’s testament to some key aspects of what we have here. We are excited to receive our new SR3 XXR in a few weeks and see where that takes us for the 2023 season”.

I would like to personally thank everyone who has worked so hard this year, and I am very excited to show the world what we have planned for 2023”.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, 2022 was more than just a candle on the cake for Radical Motorsport. With the 100th SR10 model leaving the factory and the announcement of another update to the popular SR3, the year concluded with the inaugural Radical World Finals in Las Vegas.
